a truck A moving with a velocity of 30m/s collides with a
stationary trolley B of mass 0.5tonnes after collision the
two bodies were automatically connected.find their common
velocities after collision if the mass of truck is 1.2tonne.
Answer Posted / kondaiah
mt=1.2-o.5=0.7tonne
mtr=0.5tonne
vt=30m/s
vtr=0m/s
common velocity=(mt*vt+mtr*vtr)/(mt+mtr)
=0.7*30+o.5*0/1.2
=210/12
=17.5m/s

An ice-box is built of wood 1.75 cm thick, lined with cork 3 cm thick. If in the steady state the temperature of the inner surface of the cork is 0 ºC and that of the outer surface of wood is 12 ºC, what is the temperature of the wood-cork interface? The thermal conductivities of wood and cork are 0.2 W/m-K and 0.04 W/m-K respectively

I just want to convert the voltage into current i.e. suppose I have 750V & 1A AC power then I want to convert it into 12V & 62A DC power only difficulty is that I don't want to use the tranceformer. Simply to say, I want to make the step-down without using tranceformer. Please, give me some ideas. And also I want the relation between Magnetic Induction & Weight of the body can be levitated. Or I can say, how much of magnetic induction requires to lift 500gms weight? I am heartily thankful to you.
