What is the difference between initialization & encapsulation
in VXVM?
Answer Posted / prasad
in vxvm control we can bring normal disk into 2 ways ,
those are initialization & encapsulation. when we bring the
disk through initialization , the data in the disk is
deleted or destroyed(that's why we can take new disk
through initialization) and coming to encapsulation , we
did encapsulation on a disk , the data in the disk is
preserved or stored a side , then we can write data on that
disk throug encapsulation.
