hormone in adolescence?why?
Answer Posted / shanmukha kumar d
malatonin is the hormone which induces sleep, produced by
brain's pineal gland during the night; production turns on
in the evening and off in the morning. It is synthesized
from tryptophan an amino acid..Because teenager's try to
sleep late in the night because many external
factors—social events, piles of homework, sports,
television, and evening jobs—are keeping them from going to
bed early.hence they try to sleep during day..Hence there is
a spurt in the secretion of this hormone in adolescence...
