The length of the base of a triangle is three times the
height. The area of the triangle is 24 square inches.
Find the length of the base of the triangle. (Area=1/2bh)

a=1/2b*h
b=3*h
a=24
so 1st we find out
a=1/2*3*h2 (h2=h square)
24=1/2*3*h2
24*2=3*h2
48/3=h2
16=h2
so h=4
but we want length b
and b=3*4=12
so ans is 12
