all bonds are of electric origin!
1) a dipole in both (polar) molecules
2) in apolar molecules electron fluctuations in one
molecule will induce an electron imbalance in the next
molecule, and in this way they will attract each other for
a very short time
3) hydrogen bonds are just dipoles where the most
electropositive atom is hydrogen
"hydrophobic bonds" are not science, there is no formula
for the bonds
