what is the difference between lookup stage reject link and
merge stage reject link in datastage Parallel jobs?
Answer Posted / dilip anand k
Look up has one Primary input and several reference inputs
and it supports an optional reject link that captures the
unmatched data looked up in the primary. (Rejected data in
the primary input and not the referential links)
Merge stage has one Master input and several update
datasets and it has a reject link for each update link
specified. So if we have ānā no of update datasets then the
stage supports ānā no. of reject links to capture the
unmatched records of the update link.
