Waht is the level of criticallity in Project management for
a Project which is started in maintenance Phase ? Which
phase of Project management theory must be more focused for
such kind of projects .

Criticality is high, customer has to be satisfied in all
aspects of product. However being a overhead for project
management it has to be bind with SLA to have clear
resource utilization picture. Maintenance is important area
and can not be undermine - for organization to understand
the weak product areas, customer [sitting on contract
renewal) etc. Maintenance should not take new module
enhacement or new functionality development, this team not
meant for this.
More focus should be in analysis/ code phases with clsear
focus as below,
1. Analysis:- It should be impact analysis no new
functionality understanding etc.
2. Code: Mantra should be as less code lines change to fix
the defect
