diffuser increases pressure but in turbine pressure is
decreasing when steam passing through casing?

diffuser has diverging area while turbine casing has
converging area ,and we know that in converging area the
velocity will increase and pressure will decrease ,in case
of diverging area reverse of it will take place
and the draft tube which is at the delivery port of the
turbine also be one reason of theat
