Q7)the amount of milk in 45 litre ie 90% of 50 litres.
After adding the water to the mixture the amount of
milk won't change so,it will remain as 45 litres.
the condition is to be 20 % of water after the addition of
the water
so the mixture contains 80% of m milk.
80% of x is =45 so x is 56.25 litres
Therefore, 20% of 56.25 is 11.25 litres .
Hence the amount of water added is 6.25 litres.

Given the expression N=9+X+Y–Z where X, Y and Z are variables representing single digits (0 to 9), Alok would like to maximize N while Bhanu would like to minimize it. Towards this end, Alok chooses a single digit number and Bhanu substitutes this for a variable of her choice (X, Y or Z). Alok then chooses the next value and Bhanu, the variable to substitute the value. Finally Alok proposes the value for the remaining variable.
