what is hyperdynamic shock?? give some examples??

Answer Posted / sree

It is a type of septic shock. Septic shock occurs when the
body's immune and inflammatory system responds to the
endotoxins released when the cell wall of gram-negative
bacteria is destroyed. Hyperdynamic shock is also called
warm shock (first phase shock). It is characterised by high
cardiac output and low peripheral vascular resistance. The
warm shock is followed by cold shock (hypodynamic shock).

It is reported (April, 2010)that nitric oxide plays an
important role in the induction of hyperdynamic shock.
