Lighting arester is the matelic (mostly copper made)
arrangement/device or we can say like antina in the shape of
Hunuman G gadha type , Trishul type, Road Type. which used
for grounding the lighting surges or can say the Heavy
Current flow from sky in raini days. Its provide the
shortest path for Heavy Current flow in minimum time
without damageing the building ,Equipment , through copper
wire/GI strip-clamped and connecte in to the earting pits
in which the Earthing had done already like GI/Pipe/Plate/
Gel earthing .out side of Building,chimini etc. it is
mounted on top up of the object according to safetty point
of vew, size ,area wise
