What is the use of LIS link in Statistical Key figure?
Answer Posted / james bond
SKFs capture activity information in terms of value(
currency) or quantity (hours, days etc). Now the question is
whether you want to enter that information manually or let
the system update that value for you.
EX: Your company is on a hiring spree. HR is interviewing
left and right tens of candidate. Your job is to find out
how much resources were involved in this process.
Activity type = Hiring
SKF = # hours/day
Activity Rate = 40 $/hr
Hours spent = 1000 hours
Total Hiring Cost = 40000 $
While creating SKF if you have enabled the LIS link then
system will automatically pick that value (number of
hours/day) which is already defined in the HR information
system. Your job is to properly derive your SKF and assign
it to the already present SKF in the HR info system. That
way system is taking care of populating values instead of
you entering values manually.
Hope this helps......
