if a 36 cm thread is used to wrap a book , lengthwise
twice and breadthwise once, what is the size of the book?

length of the book = x
width of a book = y
4x + 2y = 36
(one wrap covers both side length of the book same in width
also - so two wrap covers 4x as well as in 2y)
4(6)+ 2(6)=36
4(7)+2(4) =36
4(8)+2(2)=36
are the possible roots.... second shud be the answer
because that parameters are ideal for a book.
7 x 4 is the size of book
