The passenger train travels (16 km/hr)(4 hr) = 64 km
The freight train has traveled the same distance, but in a
total of 6 hours. Use the formula d=rt and solve for r:
64 km /6 hr = 10 2/3 km/hr. Written as a decimal would be
10.666666666......
Ved was on the right track,but rounded the hundredths place
to 7 before adding the ,,,,,,,,,,, which makes it appear
that the 7 was repeated rather than the 6.
Those are some slow trains!!
