In initial stages of Power elex only AC-DC converters i.e.
rectifiers were invented and in loose talks rectifiers were
called as converters and from here they got the name
converter. And this is why inverter(antonym of converter)
are called so, as they do the the inverse job of a
converter(rectifier).
So converter: AC-DC
inverter : DC-AC

Can you used moeller lzm1 mccb in a dc system with 125vdc and 20ka short circuit current , beside is it have 24 or 48 volt shunt ? Beside how long current can through from An MCB shunt contacts? (like Z7-AS 24 V)?
