both, it is beneficial in production of transgenic plants
and animals which are resistant to fungus,virus and
bactreia. in humans it is used for production of artificial
insulin etc and for the production of other
vaccines,antibiotics.
harmful like some transgenic crops may cause allergic
reaction in humans.
