HI..i have attended the PO interview on 7th nov at hyd. the
interview was simple for me. they were more concerned if i
wud join the job as i have a kid. they told me the job
involves transfers even to the north east.
the panel has 3 members.coming to the questions,
1.wat is banking
2.do u know abt ms office, tell me the components of ms
office
3.if u r selected how can u use ur technical knowledge for
the improvement of the bank n also urself?
4. wat is CBS?how does it work?
5.tell me abt ur strengths
6. wat r the qualities of a leader
7.who is the chairman of UBI (dont forget to prefix Mr/Sri)
8. wat r the functions of RBI
9. do u have a bank account? wat is the interest that ur
bank offers to u?
10.wat is networking (i cudnt answer this as i'm not from a
sw background)

Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? I am currently a PO in SBI. Compared to that, can you kindly inform me: 1) Is the chance to be allocated to your home state more in RBI? 2)Is an RBI Grade B officer likely to be transferred once he is allocated a position at one of the RBI branches? 3) Is the salary,job satisfaction, comparable workload, pension etc substantially better in RBI than in SBI? I can't find reliable information on this anywhere. Kindly enlighten me if possible.

How will you apply your knowledge of economics in Bank PO job? I am an Economics PG and recently qualify Bank Probationary officer exam. Next stage of the exam is an interview. If the panel asks me "How will you apply your knowledge of economics in this job" What should be my answer? i a aware at banks are all about finance and economics, but that knowledge will be used at 'Senior management level'.
