Difference between Training and Development?
Answer Posted / john mugwe
Training is simply imparting a certain skill; it is an
event. Development is a process; related to training,
because it involves continuous monitoring of the training
to ensure that it's used effectively to achieve intended
goals, whether individual or organisational objectives.
Development will involve coaching, performance reviews and
other yardsticks.
