Testing is done for three major reasons.
1)To show that the software is built according to the
specified requirments.
2) To show that it is fit for purpose.(Satisfy user needs)
3) To detect defects if any.
Testing also help to improve the quality and also help to
reduce maintanence cost. testing also bring confidence in
the system.
