what is the difference between earth and neutral?
Answer Posted / jish
both earth and neutral are only slightly different . both
dont carry any current. the earth is a connection coming
from the earth of the bilding itself while the neutral is
the connection coming from the powerstation . ideally there
should not be much voltage difference between them else it
means your earthing is not gud .
if we remove the earth, the circiut will still work but
there is a chance of us gettin a shock when we connect
anything .
but a neutral is required to complete the circuit .
simple !!!!!!! :-)
