the post above by someone Anonymous was having some good
information...i have checked some openings which hired
people on contract basis and found the below points :
1) These offer are made with lumpsum package.
2) The number of posts are very low ( 5 to 10 and
sometimes only 1 )
3) It is clearly mentioned in the advertisement that the
posts are on contract basis.
I again reviewed the NIC advertisement and found that none
of the above is true....there was no clear indication that
the posts are on contract ( i agree that it is mentioned
the posts are for 5 years and likely to continue...this
happens in all government recruitment and after completion
of the intial term u r given a chance to continue or
quit)....the number of posts are 260 here and the third
point that the pay is not given in lumpsum......
