There are two ways to connect our router to our PC -
a) Via Console Port.
b) Via Ethernet Port.
As we everybody know that console port is used to configure
router local administration & for this purpose ROLLOVER
cable (Console port to COM port)is used.
As up gradation purpose, we need to have CROSSOVER cable
(From Fa 0/1 of router to NIC's Ethernet/Fast Ethernet port).
