Theres not deptl exm or tax assistant but if you are LDC in
AFHQ/CSCS you can appear for UD Dept. exam, SSC. So better
change your line if you want to go up through deptt. exams.
because after passing UDC you'll be Assistant on promotion
and finally you can appear for SO Exam conducted by the
UPSC which will make you a big officer. I can say you can
be 2nd IAS officer.

Ramesh here. I am selected as Income Tax Inspector through ssc cgl 2010. I am allocated Patna region. Is there anybody who has got Patna region and has received appointment letter? ssc chief has suggested that nomination status of all the selected candidate will be completed by thirty june but this has not been completed now.so how long it would take,and when will the joining letter be issued.
