BANK RATE
The rate of interest which a central bank charges on the
loans and advances that it extend to commercial banks and
other intermediaries
REPO RATE
RATE AT WHICH BANKS BORROW FROM RBI BY SELLING SECURITIES
AND AT THE SAME TIME AGREEING TO REPURCHASE THEM AT LATE
DATE AT PREDETERMINED PRICE.
