if i got tax assistant job ,
can i write departmental exams?
who are my sub ordinate and superior officers

You may write your office's qualifying exams. but you
CANNOT write deptl. exams. conducted by the ssc and the
upsc.
Your subordinates in the Deptt./Ministries of the GOI are
few, it can be Daftry and Constable/Airman/Seaman etc.
even the LDCs are not your subordinate because LDCs are
becoming Assistant Grade after 2 promotions and they have a
better chance of promotion than the Tax Assistant as they
have UD Grade Exam.,conducted by the SSC. But, Tax
Assistant, after two promotions became Tax Inspector which
is lower in hierarchy to Assistant Grade.
Immediate Superiors of the Tax Assistants are Stenographer
Grade 'D' and UDCs
