Did anybody gone thru NIC Interview?
plz let me know what they asked in interview?

Hi this is Nitin
I have Interview on 13th May at Delhi. First time I am
appearing for Interview.
Whatever information I have by my friends previous Interview
let me share it with you.
1. First they ask you to get your documents checked so take
you original documents and two attested copies of all the
documents with 4 passport size photographs.
2. Their will be 6-7 ppl in Panel. They are all professors
from good and well know Institute. In delhi maybe from IIT
and JNU. Don't get panic they ask only basics.
3. They ask you to introduce yourself and ask some general
questions about your studies if you done at different places.
Like Why you do your Masters Degree from XYZ university even
when you have good University at your city.
Do you think money matters while choosing stream.
Get some basic information what is the main objective of
working in NIC.
Then ask you to tell your 2 favourite subjects and they ask
very basics concepts of that subjects but things are not
that easy as it looks ( bcos we prepare all but forget to
prepare basics hahaha)
Like they ask What is diff. b/w IPV4 and IPV6 what is CRC if
you choose networking.
They ask What is the diff. b/w Linear and Non-Linear
Datastructure give example. If you choose DS as your subject.
What is the disavantage of Pointers. What is the use of
making a data members as private ( don't tell to hide data
we make it private). When we make a constructor as private
in a class. If you choose c++ as your subject.
They can also ask mark yourself in particular subject out of
10( never give 10/10 bcos their is always room to learn
things basic concepts :d)
4. Interview call is according to time of registration.
5. Total posts are 250 approx. (I think maybe I am wrong
bcos posts are never fixed in govt. org. they can change
decrease or increase depends on candidates performance)
From my knowledge they call for 750-800 students for Interview.
6. That's all come out from A/C room and shout as loud as
you can but outside the campus do not start shouting in the
campus itself.
I think last interview will schedule on 13th May bcos I
apply on last date at 11:45 in night and I got last roll no.
in written exam.
Anyone appearing for Interview at Delhi plsssss. let me know.
