mucopolysaccharides.
it is a straight chain polymer of D-glucuronic acid and
n-acetyl d-glucosamine alternating in chain.
its mol weight approx reaches 5,000,000.
hyaluronic acid is acidic substance because carboxyl groups
are ionised at cellular ph.
