HDLC and PPP are the protocols used in Leased lines and
also in ISDN.HDLC-High Level Data Control,PPP-Point To
Point Protocol.
mainly HDLC is cisco proprietary protocol and PPP is OSI
protocol.PPP checks for authorization.It inter=grates with
2 protocols PAP and CHAP.
PPP supports compression and HDLC doesnt support
compression.
