The main difference appears to be that the plants are green
and cannot move from one place to another. On the other hand
, the animals are not green and they can move form one place
to another. However it has been recently observed that
these facts are not true. It is held that the difference is
due to the fact that the plant cells have a covering of
cellulose, while the animals have no they are not resisted
as they have no cellulose. Another difference is that the
plants have chlorophyll which makes then take carbon dioxide
and water and to form compounds like sugar from them. On the
other hand, the animals have no chlorophyll and they from no
sugar.
