On the cold morning, a gardener touches the iron blade of
his spade with one hand and its wooden handle with other
hand. Why does he feel the iron blade to be colder than the
wooden handle ?

Answer Posted / guest

When he touches the iron blade if his spade, the heat is
conducted away rapidly from his hen because iron is a good
conductor of heat, and so he feels the iron blade to be
solder than the wooden handle which conducts no heat form
the other hand wood being a bad conductor of heat
