what is ramachandran plot?what r its applications?
Answer Posted / richa thakur
ramachandran plot is a way to visualize dihedral angles phi
against psi of amino residues in protein structures. it
shows the possible conformation of of phi and psi angles
for a polypeptide.
its used to judge the quality of a model by finding
residues that r in unlikely or high energy conformations.
