I have done B.Sc.(H)Zoology).I went for an interview in a
call centre.Cleared seven rounds there.Only I was selected
out of 50 people for HR round. In HR round the HR manager
asked me "Why you want to join a call centre after doing
B.Sc.?" I couldn't answer and lost the interview.

Hi I am working in BPO's since 5+ years & I have also
conducted interviews, The ideal answer I feel would be:-
"That's something even my parents question me. Honestly, I
believe BSc offered me a strong foundation enhancing my
grasping skills which can be best utilised by me in this
sector. Considering the daily requirement to keep myself
updated on any new requirements and customer satisfaction
skills. I like speaking to people also one of my hobbies is
to pick up new words and try use them while speaking. I
believe if given an opportunity and guidance this will be
the right career path for me."
Now, this answer again depends on the requirement set by
operations in the organisation. If the requirement is for
NON-BSc, there is no way You can crack the operations
interview even if HR forards You to Operations (Manager). I
can tell this because I am myself a BSc graduate and the
same has also hit me in the past which I realise now when I
conduct some interviews based on requirements.
