Alkaloids such as narcotene,papavarine,morphine are
synthesised from aminoacid tyrosine.
all morphine group of alkaloids are derived from
tyrosine.methyl group is donated by methionine in this process.
Tyrosine->Dihydoxy phenyl pyruvic
acid->dopamine->nor-laudanosoline-.reticuline->salutaridine->salutaridinol->thebaine->codeinone->codeine->morphine.
I this procedure we can synthesise all types of phenanthrene
alkaloids.
