Miracidium:it is the larval form found in platyhelminthes.
It is highly organised bears an anterior boring papilla
which gives rise to primary digestive sac.
it hatches out of egg swims in water in search of
intermediate host which is a snail of genus bulinus.
miracidium can live for 24 hrs in water.
it migrates into snail and enters into visceral mass changes
into sporocysts.
Cercaria;
It is oval shaped with a forked tail.
provided with two suckers.surface is covered with minute spines.
mouth is present in oral sucker.
5 pairs of mucous glands are present.
rudiments of genital organs are situated behind the ventral
sucker.
excretory sysytm is represented by 3 pairs of flame cells.
it swims about 3 days and finally enters into human body.
