Hi All, I am appearing for H1B interview for 2008-09 through a consultant, who has promised me a Contractor job if I get selected. However I do not wish to work with this group,I want to look for a job on the basis of H1B in hand and later transfer the visa to new employer, Is this possible? If yes how to go about it?

Hi All, This is karthik from bangalore, I have applied for my H1B and it got selected in lotto and it's approved on June 19 2008.Now i am waiting for mu interview date. I am working here with a software company for 3 years but before 6 months it was taken over by another concern and now all my revisal letter and pay slip will have both the companies name logo etc..... my questions is.. Hi, I have done 3 years diploma in electronics ( 1998-2000) but I completed my diploma in 2005. I started working from 2000 itself ; so I am having total 10+ year experience in IT field. How many employees in US Company?
My company processed the H1B visa for. Propably I will get the interview date by next month. I have 20 days overlap in one of my previous experience. i.e. Company A Service certificate shows 4 Jan 2005 to 25 Jun 2006, Company B shows 5 Jun 2006 to 16 Apr 2008. Whether it will leads to any rejection on my H1B? Please clarify. Thanks Suresh

Hi, I have 5 years work experience ( 2yrs in marketing and 3 yrs in BPO-technical support) and have been to California (currently holding B1 multiple entry visa for 10 years). Qualification: B.com (Computer's) Now I am planning to apply H1 visa. Looking for Desktop or Laptop technician job and hunting for sponsor. 1)Would I be eligible to apply for H1 visa? 2)Will US companies consider my BPO experience? 3)Shall I visit US again then look for the job and then come back to India then file H1 application?
