If the capacitor bank is installed in switchyard say
132/22kv then on LT side say 22kv/0.433kv is it necessary to
install capacitor bank for maintaining power factor. if pf
is maintained on HT side then will that be maintained on LT
side as well.if not then how&why??????/ please

If capacitor bank is installed in switchyard & capacitors
are connected on HT side , it will try to balance losses of
transmission line and not towards LT side, where as for
maintaining /increasing LT side voltage, we need to install
seperate capacitors nearer to load so as to maintain PF at
LT side also depending upon connected load & distance of
equipment connected in LT side.

In Dyn11 power transformer if any one of the 3 phases connected to earth in star connected side then please explain effect of the current flow in delta connected side of transformer.(In this case if one phase is shorted to ground in star connected side then we observe the current flow in two phases only not three phases in delta connected primary side. Please explain why it is so?)

I'm generating a pulse of 3V with frequency 80Hz (12.5ms time period) and pulse duration 0.125ms and feeding it to a transformer since i want the pulse to get amplified around 60V. At the output amplification s happening but the pulse is changed to a spike, can you tell me what could be the reason? I have one ct of ratio 3000-2000/1 Amp its knee point voltage mentioned on name plate is 500-333/30mA-50mA at Vk/2. in secondary box there is three terminal named 1S1, 1S2, 1S3 then on which terminal obtained the knee point voltage ie 1S1-1S2 OR 1S1-1S3 & also specify the knee point voltage for the ratio 3000 from name plate.
