How we detect the leakage current of 11 KV H.T. motors and
waht is the maximim limit?
Answer Posted / prabhu gnanasekaran
There are two issuse excisting 1.Leakage current2.return
current. Return current is nothing but the it is a small
amout of current that flows in the neutral when the circuit
is not closed. These neutral current can be senced by RCD
(Recidual current devises). Wheareas the leakage current is
one when your cable is shorted or any open circuit to the
ground which can be senced by CORE BLANCE CURRENT
TRANSFORMERS. When there is no leakage current then the
current in all the 3 core will be same. If any leakage
current excits then the current will not be same.
