Transfer rule nothing but mapping source field to BW info-
objects. It is nothing to do with update rules.

Transfer rule/Transfer structure helps to map fields and
info-objects and to load data till PSA flat table.

In update rules we got: 1) Direct Assignment - mapping
without any modification, 2) Initial - for which data not
loaded for that info-object, 3) Constant - defining any
constant value to be updated to data target, 4) Formula -
applying formula like (+,-,*,/), 5) Routine - which allows
to built expert routine for the info-object and it doesn't
return any value, also surpasses if any start & end routine
used, 6) Read-Master data - which allows the info-object to
update data target with master data value.

I am currently working in midsized company in SAP
Business One after getting two years experience can i move
to MNC company with SAP B1 or can i change technology to SAP
ABAP na Please suggest me......

Hi Friend,

I am not sure about how SAP B1 works, but i am practicing
SAP BI/BW which is more into modelling, extraction and
reporting.

As i know, ABAP is completely into coding part which
requires step-by-step learning into it, to get into an
position. (May take time to grow yourself as expert)

I recommend, you can try into BI or the SAP B1 which makes
sense in choosing an wise decision for your career forecast.

I assure you, ABAP will be an side learning in BI if you
get into BI and you can excel in BI with ABAP knowledge
added.

I have 2 Data Sources sales and Billing.I have 2 Cubes
called 1.sales cube and 2.Billing Cube with its own Data,Now
i want to add Sales Data to Billing Cube.How Can it
Possible,Can you any one Explain?

Answer

We can create Multi-provider for two infocube. Which can
combine two cube data in a single set which does not
disturb basic cubes.

Note: Considering two basic cubes have a common data sets
that enables the multi-cube creation.

If we need inner-join or left-outer join between two data
cubes, then we should go for Infosets.

How you approach when you find that your process chain take
a lots of time for loading,tell me the step to increase the
loading performance,

Answer

Data load has to be checked through RSMO. In which, data
load status to be monitored.

It might be problem with connectivity b/w BI and Source
system or it might be because of data load package size. If
it takes longer than normal load time, then mostly package
load will fail.

For that, data load has to be started manually.

NOTE: Data load mustn't be stopped in middle for ETL
process through PC.
