I got selected (29th December 2010)in Department of Posts,India as Sorting Assistant RMS 'T' Division (Tiruchirapalli)Central Government Job. I am waiting for the induction training. Already one batch is undergoing induction training. And for me it will be in the end of MAY 2010. Now i cleared SBI clerk written exam and attended interview. ya there is a chance of asking transfer stating that your
husband is working in chennai. you may get transfered to
chennai if any one working in chennai as postal assistant is
willing for transfer to andrapradesh(mutual transfer).

CRPD.What will be the pay ,How will be my future in SBI.

You have to decide whether to continue your engineering
course or to join in SBI as Clerk. If you have confidence in
you that you will get a better job in your college
placements then you can continue your engineering course and
if you are not sure about the college placements then its
better to join SBI. After joining SBI as a Clerk you will be
eligible for promotion to Officer Cadre only if you have
graduation.
So before taking decision well get guidance from your
college faculty members. Also get guidance from any of your
relations or neighbours working in SBI.

If you have mentioned your MBA qualification in your SBI
bio-data form then u have to produce your MBA certificates.
You have MBA degree in marketing, so you can tell them that
i will use my marketing skills.

the interview is quite normal and not like very tough and
all... they are asking why you like to join SBI as a clerk....
how your graduation will be useful in banking.... your
hobbies and interest.. your family details... will you
prepare to work in other place out of your locality.... some
current affairs... SBI in recent news... inflation and other
rates like CRR, SLR, PLR.... governor of RBI, finance
minister of India.....

Nationalised banks are the public sector banks.
Both are the same.
The difference is between public sector banks and private
sector banks.

1.Reserve Bank of India
2.State Bank of India
are the two government banks.

All other banks are nationalised banks except private banks
and foreign banks.
