Windows XP can only be used for commmon utility puposes
with the available features.

while windows Vista has more features than Win XP which
can allow users to use more advanced sofware packages can
be supported/installed and run on Vista box which can be
used for few special buissiness critical applications.

Example, A server software Can be installed on Vista and
can be tested.

I agree both of you. You both are right as it is a stress
test can be performed for a single functionality/multiple
functionality at a given point of time.
