I do have interview of IOB on 19th in Bangalore. Please
tell me how to face and waht diffrenet aspect of
interviewer will be. I am in IT sector currently. Do they
expect much for Banking Terminology.

Hi brother,
As u have experience in IT and surely with Btec degree ur
changes of selection r high.
Ur questin abt how to face the interviw(Well u know better
as u r from IT back ground and compared to others ur
confidence ll be more then others)so u dont worry abt that.
For ur question abt Diffrent aspect of interviw i ll
suggest u to focus on these things for ur interviw....
1.Abt urself
2.Family Back ground.
3.Ur current job profile.
4.Why u want to shift to banking.
5.Some general question abt ur state and city.
6.Current events(Like elections etc)
7.Some banking questions regarding Indian
ecconomy,RBI,SEBI,SENSEX, etc..

Well i m also from IT back ground and from bangalore and
due to these recession i m also trying for bank po jobs and
applied for UCO bank po but result is not declared yet.
I m sure that if I ll clear the written i can clear the
interview also(work exp,Btec,various
certifications, and good banking domain knowledge as i m
working in this domain currently). so can u plz tell me how
many questions have u tried in the written and according
to ur performance how much cut off do u think in each
section is enough for clearing the written.

Hi Babu,
Thanks for ur timely help. I hope this will help me to get
through. Your answer really boost up my confidence.
As par ur question:
I am form general background. I have B.Tech
degree so no doubt I have an edge over other for at least
Mathmatics and Reasoning. I personally think that if we
attend overall 1170-180 question with high precesion than
definitely one can get through.
I always believe that if you do better in GK than
ur chances move up because that is only which creates
difference among B.Tech(Intra Competition).
Hope that u get through UCO bank.

I'm from BTech back ground and have one and half yr exp in IT .

Hi,

I faced the interview in Bangalore on 19th. Interview
started on time. Interview was just like a chat. They were
4 in panel and were very energetic.
They siply asked about
1) what u doing currently?
2) why wants to join Bank?
3) than whatever u tell they will ask another question
from ur anwer only. So make sure u use only these words
which u can explain in next qustion.
4) They asked that hoe u will adjust in bank.
5) Difference b/w clerical and PO job.
6) What is banking
7) how banks help in dovelopement of country?
8) waht is Financial Incusion?
9) What is Deflation?
10) How u will add value to banks?
But they really do a chat only. So never be panic if u
could not answer any financial question and be clever.
