It all depends on what type of model you want to be,
swimsuit models have a rather flexible range of heights for
males and females. Catwalk models are a little more strict,
for women its around 5'7 minimum and males is 5'11.
Although depending on which agency you model for, they can
choose to change the height limits, for example well-known
fashion designers are going to want skinnier, taller
models, than shorter. But it all depends on which agency
you model for.

i am 16. i want to be a model but i don't know the procedures to get in. i live in poona but soon i'll be shifting to madras. i am wheatish in colour, 38 kgs and moderate looking. so do i have the chances to be a model? is chennai a good place to start my career? and what are the procedures to get in? i am really confused and helpless, can anyone help me pls?
