Often in the hospitality industry unexpected situations can
arise, whether it be a cancelled flight and the need to
help ease the discomfort of delayed passengers, or a
breakdown in equipment upon which the kitchen was very
dependent, or last minute staff sick calls which might
leave the workplace under resourced, I have had to deal
with many situations of unexpected deadlines quite
successfully. Whenever these situations have occurred I
have been always ready, willing and able to cover these
pressures and leading by example, encourage others to do
likewise.

“Yes”. Working well under pressure is a good strength/trait
to have. But saying yes is not enough; you need to explain
how you can handle pressure situation to bring the best out
of it. Tell the interviewer that you work the same with
pressure and without pressure.
