k = 5
and
a = -5

because

-9+2k = 1 => k = 5

and

a=10-8k+k^2 => a = -5

consider this form:
(divisor)x(quotient)+remainder=dividend

(x^2-2x+k)*(a0x^2+a1x+a2)+x+a=x^4-6x^3+16x^2-25x+10

compare the co-efficients to get a and k.

expect ans to be a=-10, k=4.
