How to configure SMTP connector in exchange server 2003 for
external outgoing mail?
Answer / getachew t.a
In Exchange Sys mangement console, you need to go to the
protocols folder and configure SMTP. You may not find it
and you right click and choose New and it would creat a
virtual smtp server. If you have only one server that would
do it, but if you have a front end and back end servers you
do it on the front end server. Also see the Routing group
and connector folder and make sure you have a SMTP
connector. Unless you have multi-domains it is a a simple
wizard driven setup which may not need your input.
