Define the number of network ids in a class c network?..

Answer / Ankur Tripathi

A Class C network has 256 (2^8) addresses available for network IDs. However, the first few and last few addresses are reserved, so there are effectively 254 (256 - 2 - 2 - 1) usable network IDs in a Class C network.
