What is nosql? Name some examples of nosql databases. What is a key value store? What is column storage? What is a document database?
Answer / Sonali Srivastava
NoSQL (Not Only SQL) is a class of database management systems that provides an alternative to traditional relational databases for handling large, unstructured data sets. Examples of NoSQL databases include MongoDB, Cassandra, and Couchbase. A Key-Value Store stores data in the form of key-value pairs. It's simple and fast but lacks advanced query capabilities. Column Storage stores data organized by columns rather than rows, which can be more efficient for handling large datasets with many columns. A Document Database stores data as documents, each having a unique identifier and variable structure, similar to JSON or XML files.
