Can you compare the validation set with the test set?
Answer / Dimple Shukla
While both validation and test sets are used to evaluate the performance of a machine learning model, there is a difference between them: The validation set is used during the training process to select the best model or hyperparameter configuration, whereas the test set is used after model training to provide an estimate of the real-world performance of the selected model on unseen data.
