differentiate between a thread and a computer process

differentiate between a thread and a computer process..

Answer / Raveesh Mehrotra

A computer process is an instance of a program that is being executed. It includes the code, data, and system resources required to run the program. A thread is a smaller unit within a process that can perform separate tasks simultaneously while sharing the same resources as its parent process. In other words, a process is a program in execution, whereas a thread is an independent sequence of instructions executing within a process.
