Types of vg & explain about them?
Answer / Yajuvendra Singh
In IBM AIX, there are two types of volumes groups (vg): linear and logical. Linear volume groups consist of physical volumes that are concatenated together to form a larger logical volume. Logical volume groups, on the other hand, allow for more flexible management of physical volumes by using Extent Groups to allocate space.
